The basic idea behind slathering your face in oils in the name of cleaning is that “like dissolves like.” In other words, putting clean, nourishing oils on your skin is intended to:
Lift excess sebum, the oily substance produced by glands on your skin
Clean out clogged pores like blackheads and whiteheads
Remove dead skin, pollutants, and makeup
Moisturize dry skin
Reduce inflammation in acne or other facial skin condition
Traditional cleansers can irritate the skin, cause excessive dryness, exacerbate acne and ultimately result in the skin overproducing oil after washing. Oil cleansing, on the other hand, can help balance the skin and lock in hydration.
Our blend contains Lavender, Tea Tree, Frankincense, fractionated coconut oil which is perfect for all skin types and Apricot kernel oil is rich in linoleic and oleic acids and also contains vitamin E. It can also help tackle acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
To use, simply wet your face with warm water and pat dry. Then massage the oil into your skin to help dissolve the grit and grime. After that, gently wipe the oil off with a warm, wet washcloth or makeup pad.
